CLIENT ACCESS SUPPORT STATEMENTS

Aptiva Support Position

The IBM AS/400 Client Access/400 family of products does
not support the IBM Aptiva Personal Computer since it is
exclusively designed and tested to be used in a home
environment, not in a commercial, networked environment.
IBM has specific PC products to fulfil the commercial market.


IBM 8235 Coexistance
____________________

IBM 8235 DIALS Client for Windows Version 4.0 will
successfully coexist and is supported with Client Access for
OS/400 (Windows 3.1 at Version V3R1, and OS/2 Optimized at
Version V3R1).

No DOS box support is available.

No support is currently available for DOS Extended, OS/2
(16 bit) or Windows 95.

Configuration information for the tested environments will be
made available soon.
